Van Vicker was born on August 1, 1977. He is a star actor in the Ghana Film Industry. This handsome young actor is usually cast as the male romantic lead in films, often alongside actresses Jackie Aygemang and Nadia Buari. He is of Liberian-Ghanaian and Dutch descent. His father is Dutch, while his mother is of Ghanaian and Liberian parentage.
This rising star of African movies started his professional acting career with the movie, Divine Love, followed by Mummy's Daughter and Beyonce. His sterling performance and good looks has earned him the admiration fans all over the world. He is sought after by movie producers and directors. Vicker has starred in several other African films, including: Darkness of Sorrow; Keeping the Promise; The Return of Beyoncé; Romance; A Woman's Honor; I Hate Woman; In the Eyes of My Husband; Corporate maid; American Boy; Princess Tyra; Wedlock of the Gods; My story; Innocent soul; Heavy storm; Odo Benni.
In 2003, Vicker appeared in the Ghanaian television series, Suncity, which portrayed university life. He played the character of LeRoy King, Jr., a fine arts student born in the U.S. who arrives at Suncity to complete his education. The series ran for a total of 10 episodes.
Vicker is married to Adjoa Van Vicker and the couple is blessed with two beautiful daughters, J-dyl and J-ian. Vicker has numerous fans and admirers, especially among the female folks.
In addition to acting, Vicker hosts a program on TV called Game TV and runs an advertising agency and events management company.
